Merlin- Editing.

The editing was fast paced, which appeals to a younger audience and crossed with the type of programme it will appeal more to males.

There is a shot when then men are shown to be fighting which shows men to be strong and courageous, and the editing throughout this bit it very quick and has a lot of different shots to make it seems like it is all very exciting and dangerous.

There is match on action used in this scene also when Merlin is dressing the other man into all of his fighting clothes.

There is also many special effects used, specifically when the equipment is cleaning itself.

Also in the 5-minute clip that we watched it was set over 1 day, 1night and another day that therefore meant that there was elliptical editing involved with cutting time out.
